Boston was hammered on Monday by its third winter storm in two weeks, and records fell with the snow. Counting the 20 inches of snow that had fallen at Logan airport since late Saturday, there was 37 inches on the ground, beating a 1996 record for the greatest snow depth in Boston. Snow was falling at midafternoon across almost all of New York state and across all six states of New England. Police have charged a Pittsburgh-area boy with murder after he posted a selfie on Snapchat with the victim's body. According to various reports , police have charged 16-year-old Maxwell Marion Morton with the fatal shooting of Ryan Mangan, also 16, in the face. Morton then allegedly posed for a self-portrait with the body, which he sent to a friend via Snapchat.
