The Kurdish government in Iraq says it has evidence examined by an independent laboratory confirming that the Islamic State group used chemical weapons against peshmerga fighters. A statement Saturday from the Kurdistan Region Security Council claimed that the purported chemical weapon attack involved chlorine gas used in a Jan. 23 suicide car bomb attack in northern Iraq. According to Israeli media sources, the army has suggested the construction of a 30-kilometer barrier inside the West Bank near the Jordanian border. The army claims that the massive wall is needed for the protection of an airport which is currently under construction in a nearby area. Israel has already built a separation wall near the Egyptian border. Palestinians say the barriers are aimed at isolating them. They say Tel Aviv is seeking to drive out Palestinians in an attempt to judaize the occupied West Bank. The U.S. Embassy in Saudi Arabia has issued a warning about a potential militant plot to kidnap Western oil workers. The warning, issued late Friday, said officials received information about a threat to kidnap the workers, including Americans, from oil fields in the kingdom's Eastern province. The embassy said it had "no further information on the timing, target, location or method of any planned attacks." "Jonestown: The Life and Death of Peoples Temple", is a 2006 documentary film made by Firelight Media, produced and directed by Stanley Nelson. The documentary reveals new footage of the incidents surrounding the Peoples Temple and its leader Jim Jones who led over 900 members of his cult to a settlement in Guyana called Jonestown, where he orchestrated a mass suicide with poisoned Flavor Aid, in 1978. It is in the form of a narrative with interviews with former Temple members, Jonestown survivors, and persons who knew Jones at various stages.

Iraq's semi-autonomous Kurdistan Regional Government said on Saturday it has evidence Islamic State used chlorine gas as a chemical weapon against Kurdish peshmerga forces. The Kurdish region's Security Council said in a statement to Reuters that a laboratory analysis of soil and clothing samples from a January suicide car bombing it said IS conducted in northern Iraq found "the samples contained levels of chlorine that suggested the substance was used in weaponized form."
