Federal officials say most of a reddish-brown sheen from thousands of gallons of fuel oil spilled into the Ohio River from a power plant has dissipated as cleanup estimated at hundreds of thousands of dollars a day continues. Environmental Protection Agency said Wednesday about 1,000 gallons of oil and contaminated water from the Duke Energy plant spill near Cincinnati has been recovered.
