1/28/2015 -- Very Large Eruption in Japan -- HOURS LONG -- sends ash dozens of KM skyward

A very large (still ongoing) eruption is occurring at the well known Sakurajima volcano located on the Southern tip of the main island of Japan. This video shows 3 hours (time lapse) of this still ongoing event. This newest large eruption began with a multiple day steaming event, immediately followed by a large blast of lava on January 25th 2015 (seen here: http://bit.ly/1JGhLbA ). This ongoing active eruption began in earnest after the blast(s), producing an over 3 hour eruption on January 26th 2015 (seen the timelapse of the previous large eruption here: http://bit.ly/1yyWI4q ) Today, January 28th 2015, a new MUCH larger eruption has occurred. Extending over 6 hours long so far, this video captures approximately 3 hours of the eruption. The large ash cloud clearly extending multiple kilometers in the atmosphere, and also spreading multiple KM down wind from the eruption location. The first 5 minutes of this video are at regular speed, then the rest of the eruption is time-lapsed at 4X speed to make this video even barely watchable all the way through (no way anyone is going to watch a 6 hour long eruption). See the eruption (and record it) live here: 地震火山噴火溶岩日本 (as seen on http://bit.ly/1z1LFr0 ) Sakurajima volcano has been active in the past (2011 especially), and has since calmed down over the past year.
