She works as an advocate for vulnerable adults and campaigns and negotiates for change in mental health policy. In this powerful and moving talk, Rebecca uses her personal story of living with bi-polar disorder to illustrate the ability of human beings to recover and survive. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
