4/10/2015 -- Teams deploy across Yellowstone -- Taking underground RADAR measurements

April 10, 2015 Teams of professionals were reported to be seen on park cameras , deployed around the Old Faithful / Yellowstone Geyser Basin doing some investigative work. Multiple viewers reported the teams of people walking in areas where foot traffic is not normally allowed... directly around the erupting geysers near (and up to ) Old Faithful itself. The teams of people are taking new underground RADAR measurements of the geyser basin. This is on their website: "From April 9 to 13, 2015, scientists will be using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to map what lies below the ground around Old Faithful Geyser. With a technique that's similar to using ultrasound on a human body, the research will study shallow subsurface structures like the thickness of the hot spring deposits, fractures, vents and cavities." This should be no shock, since the park is confirmed to have risen multiple inches in the past year, and pushed about an inch Southeast.
