Fukushima Daiichi braces for strong typhoon- MORE NUKE JUICE!!
A
very powerful typhoon is bearing down on Japan in the next 24 hrs– and
its path is set to go through the already crippled Fukushima nuclear
power plant. It’s less than 24 hours until the storm is due to hit. The
storm has been branded a “once in a decade event”.
Japan’s weather agency has issued warnings of torrential rain and strong winds ahead of the coming typhoon, Wipha.
Workers at the damaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant have taken
measures against approaching powerful typhoon Wipha to prevent leakage
of radioactive water.
Officials at the plant's operator, Tokyo Electric Power Company, say
workers confirmed on Tuesday that pumps and piping to inject water into
the plant's disabled reactors are fixed by ropes.
