Cruise missiles fired from a Russian cruiser Varyag and two ballistic missile submarines cut through a simulation enemy ship, Tuesday, as Russian land, sea, and air forces took part in Vostok 2014 strategic drills in the Kamchatka Peninsula. At the training area near Avachinsky Bay, multi-purpose troops worked out a tactical scenario to safeguard the coast’s anti-airborne defenses.
