Nearly 5 years after the oil spill in the gulf coast, oil giant Halliburton agrees to pay over a BILLION dollars to settle the damages. Halliburton was the cement contractor for BP on the drilling rig that exploded in 2010. 11 workers died in the blast, sparking the biggest offshore oil spill in US history. The new settlement covers MOST of the claims, but not ALL of them.
