The challenge for this project was to head to Home Depot and to buy products from only there in the process of making an urban survival kit. What you have here is the HDUSK - Home Depot Urban Survival Kit, version 1.0. In it you'll find items I would find helpful if I had only this bag to last for a while in a situation like post-Hurricane Sandy or Katrina. This is not built as an EDC bag or a wilderness survival kit (though some of the items could be used in other situations). Check it out and let's get the conversation going.
