Killings In Guinea Show Mistrust In Africa Ebola Fight: WHO

The killing in Guinea of eight people trying to educate locals about Ebola showed how much rural populations in West Africa mistrust authorities after years of instability and conflict, the World Health Organization said on Friday. WHO expert Pierre Formenty said, "We need to continue the combat against Ebola, we need to investigate these murders, but it should not stop us. The virus is spreading in the Liberian capital Monrovia, where there is a high number of cases and a "vacuum" of authority in many areas of the city of around one million." http://bit.ly/1ujRdpP http://bit.ly/1fJ5yqZ
