Yet another report of a violent attack out of the University of Florida in Gainesville. Police say a man lunged out of nowhere and tackled a woman while she was just walking on campus. The victim told investigators she kicked her assailant before he fled the scene. University officials are concerned about this new rise in random violence. It’s the fourth attack of it’s kind in recent days. One victim feared she was about to be raped before narrowly escaping. Investigators are still talking to witnesses from around the scene and police chief Linda Stump says she has new evidence on a surveillance video.
