Witnesses say man killed in officer shooting was unarmed, police disagree

Police said Jerry Nowlin was killed in the officer-involved shooting. The death was ruled a homicide by the Medical Examiner's Office and 39-year-old Nowlin died from a gunshot wound to the head.
