Hezbollah’s Secretary General has threatened to respond Israel’s repeated strikes on Syria. Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah made the remark in an interview with Beirut-based al-Mayadeen news channel. The Lebanese resistance leader said his movement is well-armed and its Iranian-made missiles can hit anywhere in Israel. He said the Israeli strikes target not just Syria but the axis of resistance in the entire region. Since the conflict began in Syria four years ago, the Israeli air force has targeted several Syrian positions. The most recent such strike hit arms warehouses near the capital Damascus in December. The Lebanese resistance movement has time and again stressed its support for the Syrian government against foreign-backed extremism.
