Iran and Russia agree to boost bilateral cooperation in security and military spheres. Iranian defense Minister Hossein Dehqan and his Russian counterpart Sergey Shoigu have signed an agreement following negotiations in Tehran. The agreement calls for the developing and strengthening of military and defense ties between the two countries based on mutual interests. Both sides agreed to cooperate in their fight against terrorism, separatism and extremism. Shoigu arrived in Teheran for a two-day official visit late on Monday. He's also scheduled to hold talks with the Chief of Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces General Hassan Firouzabadi.
