Tesco to Shut Head Office and 43 Stores and Sell Off Blinkbox and Tesco Broadband





Troubled Tesco is to axe thousands of a jobs as part of a radical shake-up, . In a blow to staff, Britain's biggest supermarket is shutting 43 stores, slashing head office costs and closing its defined salary pension scheme. Jobs are also set to go through an overhaul of its store management structure, with others who stay forced to take pay cuts. Meanwhile, the industry heavyweight is ditching plans it had to build 49 superstores.
