Scientists genetically modified mosquitoes and mixed their genes with the deadly disease E COLI. They plan to release MILLIONS of these Mosquitoes into the air near Florida this year. Yes, this is really about to happen! Just a few years back they did this on the Cayman Islands, just off the coast of Florida, in the Caribbean! Very soon after that, this E coli began spreading in epidemic proportions. Could this more direct release, in Florida, make for an even larger E coli Epidemic as it's result? Only time will tell. One thing for sure. It seems completely incomprehensible to me.
