Brenda Spencer : The "I Don't Like Mondays" Killer
On a January morning in 1978 16 year-old Brenda Spencer opened her bedroom window, raised the rifle her father had given her for Christmas, took aim and began firing on the elementary school across the street. The unsuspecting students were waiting to be let inside the school when the chaos erupted. Spencer wounded 8 children and the school's principal and custodian were both killed. When she was asked her motive she replied "I don't like Mondays". The Brenda Spencer school shooting was the beginning of a long line of similar attacks on American schools that would continue to gain momentum throughout the '80s, '90s and '00s. I DO NOT OWN THIS. NO MONETARY GAIN. FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
