Just a very good simple system for making Amazon FBA work for you: 1. Taking GlobalVoodoo's Walgreens example, the idea would be to first get accustomed to what has good profit ranges, among the items at Walgreens, checking with online prices via your cell. 2. From there, the idea would be first a little trial and error, buying a couple items, via educated guess to see how quickly it sells. The idea would be to find one or two items that sell very fast and focus more so on these type of items. 3. From there, the trick would be to get the system down to a well oiled machine for that particular product that is doing well and then also to seek out other sources, which would be cheaper for you to source from (using price comparison engines like Bing Shopping, Shopwiki.com, etc). 4. Next, the idea would be to branch out into related products based on the pattern you are seeing for items with good profit margins and also sell quickly. Of course, continue experimenting also with other random items to find other patterns. 5. Consider also finding generic versions of some of the items and seeing what the profit margins are on those as well and seek out those you can import from in China. Start out slow and if works out, buy larger amounts until you got the thing running really nice. 6. Continue the process above, as these hot sellers don't last forever.. Sometimes they are seasonal or even a fad, or a Christmas item. So you always need to keep the wheel rolling for new items and build up your arsenal over time.
