The surveillance video, dated January 8, shows individuals dressed in black smashing furniture, ripping apart shelves, and vandalizing the mosque’s interior. In a chilling moment, one attacker walks straight toward the security camera and deliberately destroys it with a metal pole.
The incident comes amid Iran’s deadliest wave of protests in years. According to the U.S.-based rights group HRANA, more than 500 people have been killed since demonstrations erupted, with thousands more arrested as authorities intensify their crackdown.
