Parts of upstate New York came to a standstill on Tuesday after an epic amount of lake-effect snow buried the region in up to four feet of the wintry white stuff. The storm isn't over — the National Weather Service says several towns will be under five feet of snow by Wednesday evening — and photos have already emerged showing the scale of the epic snowfall. Some of the most stunning images of the wall of snow moving into Buffalo were captured from above, as passengers on the few flights leaving the city snapped shots. Those on the ground captured equally crazy images, showing massive drifts piling up in driveways, swallowing cars, dogs and people. http://on.mash.to/1uGKk5o http://bit.ly/1fJ5yqZ
