Food Recovery Network: Fighting waste. Feeding people.

The Food Recovery Network (FRN) is a network of student groups across America dedicated to recovering the surplus food from dining halls, athletic events and other campus events that would otherwise go to waste, and donating it to homeless shelters in DC. Reducing food waste and providing for our neighbors makes our whole community stronger. It also helps the environment by helping to close the loop on food waste, America's second largest waste stream. Check us out at: http://bit.ly/1vMhH9c http://on.fb.me/1vMhH9d http://bit.ly/1FJb8nU
