The Leader of Iran’s Islamic Revolution says Saudi Arabia is making a major mistake in Yemen, warning that Saudi crimes in the country will backfire on Riyadh. Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, who was speaking in a meeting with visiting Iraqi President Foad Msoum, said the Saudis have launched an aggression on Yemen based on an unwise justification. He has blamed the current crisis in Yemen on what he described as an ill-advised and ignorant camp in Saudi Arabia. Ayatollah Khamenei has also called for immediate action to stop the killings of the people in Yemen. Elsewhere in his remarks, the Leader described Iraq as an important country in the region and said Baghdad can play a crucial role in resolving the crises in Yemen and Syria.
