Fukushima Update As Chernobyl Fires Send Radiation in Atmosphere 4/30/15

Lots and Lots to go over today. Wow. Every day I think "I can't do this any more"... and then something NEW comes along... and BAM!... here we go Again! Chernobyl fires send radiation particles in atmosphere http://bit.ly/1DOkCfV More workers hurt in Fukushima Daiichi scrapping TEPCO to remove cover for crippled reactor Kansai Electric files to extend use of reactors Inspection of aging Mihama reactor to start in May Ice wall project faces challenges TEPCO begins freezing soil on trial basis Forest fire erupts in Chernobyl nuclear no-go zone NOTE: IT'S SUSPECTED THAT THE FIRE WAS STARTED ON PURPOSE in multiple locations. Worker gets splashed with radioactive water. and as an ironic bonus: NPT issues joint statement Urges No Use of Nuclear Arms... as a reminder I pulled out this one from January 6, 2012! 40 Year Old Virgin nuclear reactors in Japan: Fukushima update 1/6/12 http://bit.ly/1IuefE3 They tell you what you want to hear, but it's just not truthful! song by Jonathan Mann called Emperor of Spheres (Song A Day #1832) (Collab A Day #8) http://bit.ly/1DOkEEB So, even though these reactors are Older than the 40 year old "life span" the utilities want to restart the nuclear reactors with Additional licensing extensions in the worst earthquake prone area in the world... no worries. Here's what Japan said on January 6, 2012 Govt to limit life of nuclear reactors to 40 years The Japanese government wants to pass a new law that limits the life of nuclear reactors to 40 years. Nuclear crisis minister Goshi Hosono on Friday announced a review of nuclear safety regulations following the accident at the Fukushima Daiichi plant. The proposed 40-year limit is included in new draft regulations on nuclear reactors and nuclear fuel material. According to the draft, the government will not allow reactors to operate for more than 40 years, but may grant extensions on request. Extensions will be subject to government checks on the obsolescence of the facility, and the plant operator's capacity to provide appropriate maintenance. This is the first time for the government to try to regulate the lifespan of nuclear plants. Hosono said the government will also revise safety standards against earthquakes, tsunami and other disasters with new knowledge and technology in protective measures and require power companies to comply with new standards. The government will submit the legislation to the ordinary session of the Diet by the end of this month at the earliest, ahead of the planned launch of a new nuclear safety agency in April. Friday, January 06, 2012 18:51 +0900 (JST) I'm so sick of this crap. Lying, coverups, ignorance, malice, policies, politics, secret trade agreements, secrecy laws, etc etc etc. Please remember to subscribe to MissingSky101 for your Fukushima Updates. She's really good at what she does. I'll probably take a break from this crap for a while. Head on over to NHK to grab the articles. They only leave a majority of them up there for about 12 -24 hours before they purge their site of info.
