In a decision filed Sept. 12, a three-judge panel of the U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals called the revelations such a “massive” and “extraordinary” violation of the law it threw out evidence the Navy had collected against Michael Allan Dreyer of Algona, Washington, who had been sentenced in 2012 to 18 years in prison for distribution of child pornography. According to court documents, a Naval Criminal Investigative Service, or NCIS, agent in Georgia named Steve Logan trolled for traces of child pornography on computers across Washington State. Hundreds of domestic wells in California's drought-parched Central Valley farming region have run dry, leaving many residents to rely on donated bottles of drinking water to get by. Ten houses and 22 outbuildings have been destroyed in a wildfire that swept through parts of the Sierra Nevada mountains in California over the past week and continues to burn, a fire official said on Sunday. I built this camper back in 2011 & camped in it for 2 years before I sold it. I had to sell it because the frame on my truck broke, and I couldn't afford another truck. I plan on building a small teardrop camper that will weigh less than 1/2 than this camper did...that way, I can haul it with any small vehicle, without needing a truck to tow it. He calls this 0.85 acre plot "edible acres" or "Okanagan Biodiversity Farm". He grows about a hundred different crops on this plot as a market garden including raspberries, elecampane, and ... weeds like dandelions! So he let the dandelions go all season, and then he harvests them in the fall and sells them! During the growing season, the dandelions feed the surrounding plants. Skeeter explains that plants like dandelions are solar collectors and pump half of their collected energy into the soil to feed the web of life which then fertilizes other plants.
