The driver of a stolen vehicle who led a dangerous pursuit from East L.A. to Montebello, during which he carjacked one vehicle and attempted to steal two others before being shot by police, was in stable condition Tuesday, according to LAPD officials. Police did not identify the man, only describing him as a Hispanic man in his early 30s, but said he was recovering at a hospital. The pursuit began around 5:15 p.m. on First Street in Boyle Heights when officers attempted to stop a stolen vehicle, Los Angeles Police Department Officer Rosario Herrera said. Sky5 aerial footage showed the man driving erratically, weaving in and out of traffic, and colliding with multiple vehicles before his silver car became disabled in South Gate. The driver then abandoned the stolen car, ran up to a second vehicle with a gun and carjacked it from a 22-year-old mother of two. Delta apologized on its Twitter account Tuesday afternoon after its Facebook page was hacked and some potentially offensive links were shared. One link that was shared there featured an image of a bowl of fish referencing a sex act. A second simply featured a heavy-set woman. The airline's media department tweeted less than an hour after it was hacked, "The Delta Facebook page was compromised. We sincerely apologize for the unauthorized, objectionable content that was posted." Facebook users who replied to the post knew it wasn't standard Delta content. The White House has a new cybersecurity agency that will focus on dealing with threats against both the U.S. and American businesses. The Cyber Threat Intelligence Integration Center will be modeled after the National Counterterrorism Center, which was established in the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks in 2001. The agency will not collect any additional intelligence. U.S. oil services giant Halliburton said it expects to cut between 6.5 percent to 8 percent of its global workforce due to the "challenging market environment" caused by low oil prices. Halliburton says impacts of layoffs will be across all company operations. A friend of Bobbi Kristina Brown said police have questioned Brown's boyfriend about bruises on the young woman's chest after she was found unresponsive in a bathtub January 31. Brown, the daughter of the late Whitney Houston, remains in a medically induced coma in a neuro intensive care Atlanta's Emory University Hospital. Monday night, friend Daphne Barak said that Nick Gordon, Brown's boyfriend, told her that the bruises were a result of him performing CPR on her. Facebook on Tuesday started rolling out a way for people to post items for sale in a group -- a new destination for virtual garage sales. The new features include a way to catalog the items up for sale and those you sold previously, and the ability to mark an item as sold. These groups, known as buy/sell/trade groups, consist of people who want to offload their goods in an intimate setting versus the a public post like Craigslist or eBay. People offer up items by posting a photo with a price and details, and the first person to comment then connects with the item's owner offline.
