Germany has paid billions of dollars in reparations to Israel since a 1952 agreement on compensation for Nazi war crimes. But it "has not paid the Soviet Union any reparations," parliament member Mikhail Degtyaryov told the newspaper. Degtyaryov, a member of the nationalist LDPR party, believes that Germany should pay 3 or 4 trillion euros to Russia for the "destruction and atrocities" that Germany committed during World War II, the newspaper reported. Seetharam (18), a daily wager from Bihar, worked along with his parents at an under-construction building near Bannimantap on Mysuru-Bengaluru road.  The youth was resting in a makeshift tent near the construction site on Tuesday evening when he got a call on his Karbonn cellphone which was put on charge. The moment he answered the call, the phone exploded. The impact of the blast was such that the lower part of his face was ripped apart, causing heavy bleeding and disfigurement.
