Iceland's Bardarbunga volcano has now emitted the most lava of any volcano in that geologically active country since at least 1947, and continues with no sign of stopping. The volcano is also emitting clouds of toxic sulfur dioxide gases, which have made it all the way to Europe at times, thanks to northwesterly winds. Australia's Immigration Minister Scott Morrison announced on Tuesday, Australia won't allow anyone traveling from the three West African countries hit hardest by Ebola — Guinea, Sierra Leone and Liberia — to enter. According to BBC Australia, the ban, which begins immediately, began after an 18-year-old arriving from West Africa was admitted to the hospital with a fever. Morrison said Tuesday, the temporary ban also applies to anyone who had a temporary visa approved, but who had not yet gone to Australia. The fast food chain blacked out its Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr and YouTube accounts on Tuesday in an effort to promote the launch of its new mobile ordering and payment app. Tressie Lieberman, senior director of digital marketing and platforms at Taco Bell said, "We wanted to make sure that the message broke through. There are thousands of apps that launch every day. We are a brand of firsts. We like to do things that have never been done before." The company and its agency Digitas worked with Twitter to "reset" its Twitter presence. There is now a @tacobell account with zero followers and a separate, protected account called @totallynowehere that has the 1.4 million followers from the original account.
