Ukrainian authorities said, a passenger bus came under heavy fire in eastern Ukraine, killing 12 people, and fighting intensified around the international airport in the city of Donetsk as separatists tried to oust government forces. Fears that a possible ammonia leak had been detected on board the International Space Station may turn out to have been a false alarm. Russian's Mission Control Centre said there had been a leak of "harmful substances". It happened in the US segment of the craft. Cup by cup, Emory University is collecting bags of liquid gold from the small club of American Ebola survivors. They're collecting the plasma as part of an experiment to see if transfusing blood from people who have lived through the horrific infection can save the newly ill. Many of the survivors have been given this so-called convalescent plasma, but no one knows if it's actually helping. The deep yellow serum being collected at Emory may hold the answer. The experiment officially started this month. Iraq has told President Obama's envoy that the U.S.-led coalition battling Islamic State needs to do more to help Iraq defeat the jihadists controlling large areas of the north and west of the country. Russia's space agency said, the crew of the International Space Station were forced to evacuate the U.S. section Wednesday after a leak of harmful substances. The Russian Federal Space Agency said on its website, all crew were safe and had moved to the Russian side of the facility. Russia's Interfax news agency said the leaked substance was ammonia, although there was no mention of this in the space agency's statement. The six crew members hung out on the station's Russian side for the day while ground controllers continued to troubleshoot the problem. NASA space station manager Mike Suffredini said during a televised update, operations could start returning to normal by Wednesday night.
