A woman from Colorado pleaded guilty on Wednesday to providing material support to the Islamic State — months after she told the FBI she wanted to be a terrorist. A man has been rushed to the hospital in Queensland due to fears that he may have contracted the Ebola virus. The 25-year-old man from the Gold Coast has been seriously ill for two days after returning from the Congo. He called emergency services at 7:40 a.m. local time on Thursday morning. Police are warning protesters upset over the handling of the Brown shooting, against a planned Wednesday demonstration that will shut down a portion of Interstate 70 near Ferguson, Missouri. Jim Trevarthen used to teach tourists how to surf on Hawaii's famed Waikiki Beach. Trevarthen became homeless after his Waikiki landlord canceled his lease and jacked up the rent, he said.
