Mexico Finds More Graves At Site Of Suspected Student Massacre

Mexican authorities have found four more clandestine graves containing charred human remains at a site in the restive southwest of the country, where officials fear missing students were massacred by gang members and police. Attorney General Jesus Murillo said on Thursday the motive behind the apparent massacre of dozens of student teachers, who went missing after clashing with police in Iguala in the volatile, gang-ridden state of Guerrero on Sept. 26, was not yet clear. Murillo said four more people had been detained in connection with the case, taking the total number of people held to 34. http://bit.ly/1skz0M3 http://bit.ly/1fJ5yqZ #News

In Mexico, Parents Hold Vigil For 43 Disappeared

Two weeks after 43 students disappeared in a clash with police in rural southern Mexico, dozens of anxious parents have gathered at a teachers' college that was supposed to be their sons' escape from life as subsistence farmers. Wearing donated clothing, they wait for any word on the fate of their children, eating simple meals of rice, beans and tortillas and holding prayer sessions in a makeshift shelter on the school's covered courtyard. Macedonia Torres Romero, whose son Jose Luis is among the disappeared, said "They took him away alive, and that's the way I want him back." White House Prostitution Scandal

New allegations surfacing out of Washington. Now, we’re hearing that the White House DID in fact KNOW about a prostitution scandal with one of their staffers, and they went to great lengths to cover it up. Two years ago, the Secret Service suspended two agents from Colombia after they were caught with a prostitute in their hotel room WHILE the President was in the city with them. The Obama administration denied over and over that NO one from the White House staff was involved. But now, the Washington Post reports that new documents are out, and they say a presidential advance-team member WAS involved, and he DID host a prostitute as an overnight guest at a hotel room. White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said there was no evidence of improper conduct, but the lead investigator later told Senate staffers that he was being intimidated to keep quiet. It was an election year, and he says he was told not to cause any problems. http://usat.ly/1pWpKaZ http://wapo.st/1shpS9L http://wapo.st/...

Local Airports Not Screening for Ebola

Five airports add Ebola screening as a precaution. Miami International and Palm Beach International are NOT among them. The Miami airport DOES have a CDC quarantine station already set up though, so if a sick patient arrives, they could be taken into isolation immediately. Around the country, passengers flying in from West Africa will be scanned for their temperature, and required to fill out an Ebola questionnaire. It’s the latest step being taken to try to keep Ebola from spreading from West Africa to America. Screening begins this weekend at the 5 US airports where the government says nearly 95 percent of the air travelers from the West African countries hardest hit by Ebola, enter this country. http://hrld.us/1pWpGIa Support Indymedia! Alert! California Aquifers' Contaminated' with Billions of Gallons of Fracking Waste Water!

http://bit.ly/1zfNXza Industry illegally injected about 3 billion gallons of fracking wastewater into central California drinking-water and farm-irrigation aquifers, the state found after the US Environmental Protection Agency ordered a review of possible contamination. According to documents obtained by the Center for Biological Diversity, the California State Water Resources Board found that at least nine of the 11 hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, wastewater injection sites that were shut down in July upon suspicion of contamination were in fact riddled with toxic fluids used to unleash energy reserves deep underground. The aquifers, protected by state law and the federal Safe Water Drinking Act, supply quality water in a state currently suffering unprecedented drought. The documents also show that the Central Valley Water Board found high levels of toxic chemicals - including arsenic, thallium, and nitrates - in water-supply wells near the wastewater-disposal sites. Arsenic is a ...

U.S. Commander Warns of 'Ebola Threat at Mexican Border'

http://bit.ly/1zfNXza While the Obama administration plans to start checking travelers from West Africa for Ebola at five U.S. airports, the commander of the U.S. Southern Command is warning that West Africans already are entering America illegally at the porous southern border. Marine Corps Gen. John F. Kelly said a major national-security concern is West Africans traveling on the same smuggling network that has brought 68,000 unaccompanied children to the U.S. this year from Central America.
