Hurricane Odile came ashore over Cabo San Lucas on Sunday night as the strongest storm on record to strike the Baja Peninsula. The storm was a Category 3 hurricane on the Saffir-Simpson hurricane wind scale when it made landfall, and it's becoming increasingly clear that Cabo, a popular tourist destination, sustained major damage. Major road in Fukushima open for general traffic Nuclear & Energy Sep. 14, 2014 - Updated 21:38 UTC-4 Authorities have lifted a traffic restriction on a major road near the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant. The entire stretch of the No. 6 national highway along the Pacific coast is now open to all four-wheeled vehicles. Since the March 2011 nuclear disaster, the government has designated local areas with high radiation levels as no-entry zones. Traffic on the 14-kilometer section of the road that runs through Namie and Tomioka towns had been closed, except to vehicles with special permission. The restriction was lifted on midnight Sunday, after decontamination and repair work was completed. Motorcycles, bicycles, and pedestrians are still barred from travelling on the stretch of road. Facebook sent her a personal message last Thursday that asked her to revert to her birth name. She says she tried to comply with that request by keeping her drag name and then adding her last name, Grygelko. However, her entire profile is now gone. Facebook’s real names policy page states, “We require everyone to provide their real names, so you always know who you’re connecting with. The FCC has received more than 3 million comments concerning the current net neutrality notice of proposed rulemaking. That figure is dramatically higher than the previously reported 1.5 million figure that was released last week. The massive jump comes from the FCC chewing through a deluge of comments that were filed last week as part of a public campaign that saw large websites ask their users to speak up on net neutrality.
