Rock and Roll Heart traces Lou Reed's career from the formation of the Velvet Underground to rock icon to his more recent artistic endeavors. Includes lots of rare and vintage footage along with interviews with David Bowie, John Cale , Patti Smith , Thurston Moore, David Byrne, Jim Carroll, Maureen Tucker, Suzanne Vega , Dave Stewart and Philip Glass. An excellent documentary (and the only one) about this hugely influential and uncompromising American artist. Directed by Timothy Greenfield-Sanders for American Masters and screened at the Sundance Film Festival in 1998. In case you were not aware: A Power Grid Down Drill To Be Conducted By US Government The GridEX II Drill Nov. 13-14 The U.S. Government is gearing up for a major Preparedness Drill that will simulate a Grid Down Scenario, one that will examine what would happen if the county's electric grid was taken down by both physical and cyber-attacks . The threat is very real and is something that we've covered in great detail in the past. Our electric grid is extremely vulnerable to an attack that could leave our country in the dark for weeks, maybe even months.
