The St. Louis County grand jury has found that there isn't sufficient evidence to indict Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson. The job of this grand jury was to help prosecuting attorney Robert McCulloch to determine whether or not there was sufficient cause to seek formal criminal charges against Wilson (and to help provide a scapegoat for McCulloch who naturally fears for his life due to the violence of an angry mob bent on revenge). As this was not an actual criminal trial, there was no "NOT GUILTY" verdict - although that is essentially what the decision of the grand jury means. They weighed a variety of potential charges - from first degree murder to unlawful discharge of a firearm. Had the grand jury indicted Wilson, he would have been immediately arrested pending a trial based on the charges determined by the jurors.
