A Syrian military source has confirmed to RIA Novosti news agency that the country’s main airport was targeted. The state TV report said the bombing caused no casualties, while residents in Damascus said they heard loud explosions. The airstrikes targeted “civilian areas in the suburbs of Dimas and near the Syrian capital’s international airport,” SANA state news agency reported, citing a government source. Two compliance orders delivered to Energy Secretary Ernest Moniz, outline more than 30 state permit violations at the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant in southeastern New Mexico at Los Alamos National Laboratory.
