This is thanks to nothing more than dry ice, which is abundant on the red planet, according to recent research. Since man wants to start colonizing the place within the next few decades, we need all the help we can get. This could also have profound implications on planning. For now, we’re only considering one-way trips, owing to huge energy demands. This could change. The gist of the new energy theory proposed by a team of researchers from Northumbria, Edinburgh and Newcastle universities lies in carbon dioxide. Scientists say the principle is no different to what happens when you observe the effect of a drop of water on a scalding-hot stove. The Mexican Army arrested the fourteen agents and rescued the businessman this week in the border city of Matamoros, according to information released to Breitbart Texas by Mexican federal investigators. In recent months, federal agents and military forces have been deployed to the border cities of Matamoros and Reynosa in an effort to put down a war within the Gulf Cartel, as two rival factions continue to fight for control. http://bit.ly/1HjQtZ4

Police attempted to apprehend a sixth man in Grozny, the Chechen capital, according to Interfax news agency. But when police arrived at an apartment block to arrest him, the suspect threw a grenade at police and then blew himself up with a second grenade. The five suspects, all of them Chechen, appeared in a Moscow courtroom on Sunday. According to the court judge, one of the suspects, Zaur Dadayev, has admitted his involvement in the killing. Dadayev reportedly served in a police battalion unit for more than a decade in Chechnya. Dadayev along with suspect Anzor Gubashev have been charged.
